Short Biography: Azizul Hasni Paper A little information about azizulhasni Azizul Hasni Awang was born inà Dungun,à Terengganu,à Malaysia. He was born at 5 January 1988. He is the eighth of nine children in his family. He received his primary education atà Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu 48à in Dungun, and continued his secondary studies at theà Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Omarà in Dungun, before transferring toà National Sport Schoolà inà Bukit Jalil. Currently, Azizul is pursuing his studies atà Deakin University, Australia in Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Sport Management. For him, sport and education are the vital elements to be a good sportsman.Discipline and time management are the key to success. How he get involves in this sports Azizul began his career after watching his brother racing. He was coached by the Dungun Cycling Team before entering the Sport School. He was thankful to his late father for giving him a second hand bicycle as a reward after he obtained 7A 1B in hisà Penilaian Menengah Rendahà (PMR). Azizul received three offers fromà MRSM, Science School and Sport School after his PMR. Due to his interest in cycling, he decided to pursue his studies at Sport School.His first ambition was to be aà doctor, however, after entering the sport field, Azizul proved to be successful. Acchievement Azizulhasni Awang is one of the Malaysiaââ¬â¢s most successful sportsmen. At the 2008 Asian Championships, he won two gold medals in different track disciplines. He was a flag bearer for Malaysian team in Beijing Olympic Games 2008. In 2009,he made a history when he won the main keirin final in the second-leg of the UCI Track World Cup in Melbourne to become the first-ever Malayà sian gold medalist at the World Cup stage.He hold the title of world cup leader in Keirin for 2009,2010 and 2011. Apart from that, he is also the 1st Malaysian athlete who won Silver medals in the World Championship 2009 and 2010. Azizul contribute a gold medal to Malaysia in Asia G ames Ghuangzhou 2010 and among 2012 London Olympics gold medal prospects. Everybody respects and salutes with his determination and effort. In respond to the tremendous achievements and contributions to Malaysia, he has been awarded as Malaysian Sportsman of the year in 2009 and 2010.
